Today is officially Chocolate Day in Ghana. Oh...and Valentine's Day too. In honour of chocolate day events took place at the National Theatre to celebrate. Ghana is the world's second largest exporter of cocoa used in chocolate around the world. Have you tried Ghanaian made chocolate before? This brand @ohenecocoa_gh pictured was really delicious. It's a dark chocolate with options mixed with coconut or peanut. I was even surprised to see Cocoa Potpourri (second photo). #chocolateday #mychocolateexperience #GhanaMade #cocoa #lifewithivy #valentinesday #gift #chocolate
So #hot outside even my hands were sweating. #tropicalheat #hot #yellow #adinkra #lifewithivy
We were once tied to the phone by a cord on the wall or a phone booth on the street. Now it's mobile. Seeing a phone like this is like taking a trip back in time. We have become so addicted to our devices that most people are not sleeping well anymore. Including myself. An article in @huffpost said that 71% of adults sleep with their phones in accessible reach (55% leave it on a nightstand, 13% on the bed and 3% in their hand). After starting the #MinsetReset with @melrobbinslive I am leaving my phone away when I sleep. I bought an alarm clock so I don't use the excuse that my phone is the alarm. Too much disturbance for mostly unimportant stuff when I should get my full rest. So should you!! Also as a society we don't talk to each other as much as we did when we used old school phones. Yes we 'chat' on social media but hearing someone's voice has become a novelty. But that's far more engaging and human. #lifelessons #lifewithivy #habits #motivation #Monday #newweek #restart #prosperforward #communication #phone #payphone #phonebooth #oldschool #potd
