Trinidad & Tobago Fashion

Haute Caribe: The World of Trinidad & Tobago Fashion from Wedge15 on Vimeo.

It’s amazing to see how a country can fuse it’s culture with fashion to create their own sense of style.  That’s one of the reasons I love to see video and images from various fashion weeks around the world. Each country has it’s own way of creating that represents the fabric of who they are.  Although this video is more than two years old, I think it’s still a great reference point when one wants to learn about the fashion of Trinidad & Tobago.

The tiny Caribbean country is full of a rich and diverse history.  Most people know them for the infamous Carnival that happens every February.  The costumes are bold, bright and truly represent the way the people love to express themselves through clothing.  Take a few minutes to watch this video entitled Haute Caribe.  I hope you love it as much as I did.
