Body language is one of the most powerful ways we communicate. It’s not just what we say, but also how we present ourselves physically. The way you stand, walk, or what type of posture you hold can say so much about who you are. The NY Times recently featured Amy Cuddy, a professor at Harvard Business School and social psychologist. She has one of the most watched videos from her presentation at the TED Global event in 2012 where she discussed the importance of body language. In her talk she brings up the idea of high power versus low power poses one of the most popular being what’s dubbed the ‘Wonder Woman pose’ we often see musician Beyonce do during her performances.
