In the past fashion warned us of mixing different colours of denim.  It was actually frowned upon but now we know better.  Denim on denim in the same shade or contrasting light and dark is definitely cool.  This trend is getting dual action in both men’s and women’s fashion for the season.  Anything goes this time around as long as you mix it up creating your own personal style.

Dark denim is sleek, sophisticated and can be worn anytime.  For the summer and spring it’s great to lighten it up with faded denim, chambray and bleached denim.  That’s not to say you should put away your dark rinse jeans but, you can certainly pair it with something lighter for the season.
