Brooklyn, NY native Kimberly Goldson made her mark on Project Runway Season 9. Although she didn’t win the competition, being one of the four finalists certainly has become a platform to show her work to the world. Despite that success her eyes have been open to an industry that is much tougher than it looks. She is still working hard to make the industry and the public see what an amazing talent she has as a designer. She taught herself how to sew and studied Fashion Merchandising in New York at The Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T).
She was recently selected as one candidates of potential designers to show their collection at Harlem Fashion Row for fall 2013. The show will be at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York. Check her website to see her latest collections.
