As I write this post, I’m actually sitting in the heat of a tropical place and I feel terrible for all my friends who are experiencing the bitter winter chill this January.  I hear temperatures are below zero in both Canada and the United States and it’s not pretty.

Now is the time when you have to sometimes disregard fashion and focus on function.  I know, all the cool stylish footwear isn’t really made to keep you warm but right now what’s important? Frost-bitten toes or style?

That’s what I thought.

Anyway, here’s my pick for a warm winter boot that may not be the top of high fashion, but I think still serves a purpose and can actually look cute if you pair it with a nice parka, mitts and a chunky scarf.  They are available in several colours; white, grey, black, brown and tan.  They are waterproof and will keep your feet warm and dry.  Although January cold sucks, the good thing is, everything is on sale.  So you’re sure to find a great deal on various websites on these and other winter boots.
