Vision.

Is your vision clear?  Sometimes all the things around us blur what we should really be focused on.  Sometimes we can get lost when there really is no true vision.

We often hear of companies that have Vision or Mission statements.  But how can you apply that to your own life?  Not everyone is running a multi-million dollar business.  Well think of yourself as your own business.  You Inc.  How do you see yourself in the future?

A vision is something that not only fuels your future but also encompasses your beliefs.  A vision will have a clearly identified purpose.  You should write down in a sentence or two the vision you see for your future.

Once it is written then you have the hard evidence of what you desire.

Beware of people or circumstances that may kill your vision.  Things like being afraid of what people will say or think, breaking old traditions and patterns, and short-term thoughts can stop you from seeing the vision.  By all means you will hear the people around who are so-called ‘nay-sayers’.  Telling you ‘it can’t be done’.  Block them out and don’t allow them to cloud your vision.

One of the best ways to see your future is to actually visualize yourself doing what it is you want to see.

Today take a moment to describe what you see for yourself 5 or even 10 years from now.  Write it down and keep it in a place where you will be reminded of it anytime you start to lose focus.
