“Patience is a virtue…”
Most of us have heard this phrase at some point in our lives. It’s usually in reference to going through some trial or tribulation. The Bible talks about patience throughout. Often times when we are tested in our lives that’s when having patience can help you get through difficult times.
It’s still early in the year so have patience when it comes to your goals. Eight days into the new year some of you may have already failed at a goal or ‘resolution’ you set. Don’t condemn yourself but rather be patient with the process of change. If you’ve failed, or think you’ve failed just start again. Be patient and take it one day at a time.
When it comes to decision-making, you should also try exercising patience. Relax. Pray. Meditate. Breath. Take a moment to really assess the situation before you make a rushed decision. In these times you’ll notice how taking time will help you make better choices.
Being patient is also about keeping a positive attitude while you are waiting for the next break to happen.
Do you have patience?
