It’s been awhile since I shared one of my personal style posts. I need to get back to that becausr so many people ask me where I get my clothes.
For me it’s simple. It’s about knowing your body, personal style and budget. I think it’s not smart to spend more than you can afford. I’m also a believer in shopping thrift. I know a lot of people don’t like going to second-hand, thrift or vintage shops. It’s not easy because it takes a lot more effort to find something.
I got this dress at Vice Versa – L Train Vintage at 550 5th Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. I wasn’t on a shooping mission. I was actually walking by looking for something to eat when I spotted the store and went in. It was early April at the time so it was still chilly outside. I knew I wanted a dress so I went through all the pieces and found this gem. The belt was missing so I knew I’d have to improvise. And for less than 8 dollars how could I go wrong?
As with many tall women, I’ve inherited big feet (size 12) so I’m limited to what shoes I can buy. These wedges are from Payless Shoe Source. My purse is from Aldo.
