Each season certain fashion trends emerge that we can’t wait to incorporate into our wardrobes.  Some trends come and go, while others have the longevity that gives it a staying power to last for several seasons.  Cut-out details and small perforated holes are a strong trend for spring 2015 that takes its cues from athletic footwear and clothing. We’re seeing it everywhere from shoes to handbags to mesh details in clothing.

Alexander Wang showed plenty of athletic inspired pieces in his spring collection at New York Fashion Week.  That dress totally inspired by Converse court shoes was the best. At Versace the cutouts weren’t just subtle details, but made for some of the sexiest dresses for the season.  Designers all over the world are incorporating this trend for the season.  With a range of small to big holes, find what works best for your lifestyle and…what’s most appropriate in your work environment.

Most of all, have fun with it.  If you’re not ready to wear clothing that has so many holes, then slip into a pair of sexy shoes or casual slip-ons with this detail.  Better yet, why not grab a brand new handbag.?
