The American Music Awards was a night to remember for it’s red carpet moments.  None quite like Jennifer Lopez in her cutout, blush coloured dress from Reem Acra. The singer/actress proved once again that age really is just a number.  She seems to defy the ageing process and looks better as time goes on.  One thing’s for certain, she puts a lot of hard work into maintaining that figure and always makes an entrance no matter what she’s wearing.

As usual there were many hits and misses on the red carpet.  The Music Awards is a chance for artists and entertainers to show their personal style and don’t always take the red carpet as seriously as one would at The Academy Awards for Oscar night.  I’m not usually a fan of Nicki Minaj, but I thought she did really well by choosing her dress from Alexander Wang.  I also loved the white dress Kate Beckinsale wore.  Rita Ora looked brilliant in her yellow gown by Zac Posen except it reminded me of Nicki Minaj’s dress from the 2012 AMA’s.  Diana Ross who’s known for being a style icon from her days at Motown also made her own appearance on the red carpet in a simple black dress with a ruffled    Here are a few photos of some of my favourites from the red carpet.
