Sometimes when you’re working, it seems like all anyone can do is point out the things you may have done wrong. Many people have experienced it, whether at work or in our personal lives. Spending countless hours doing something and the only feedback you get is negative. Even when you’ve done something right, your boss only notices that small mistake and makes it overshadow all the hard work you’ve done.
It can be enough to discourage you and ask, “why do I even bother when I don’t get the credit?” I understand how frustrating it can be, but it’s important to remember that when you are doing something it’s not always about getting the credit. Doing your best is about representing the best you can be. Don’t allow the harshness of others to keep you from performing at a higher level.
Regardless if your good work is acknowledged or not, should always strive to do your absolute best.
