Women’s Wear Daily recently reported on Badgley Mischka’s latest pre-fall collection. As many know the Mayan calendar has been a hot topic in the last few weeks with the so-called predicted end of the world. Designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka chose to use the Aztec Mayan calendar as their source of inspiration for the pre-fall collection. But they chose to look at it as the beginning and not the end of the world using tribal patterns made of beading, lace and various details. Known for their well designed evening gowns, Badgley Mischka is often worn by celebrities and socialites on the red carpet.
These designs are sure to inspire some of the fast fashion retailers like H&M or Zara for next year’s holiday season for sure. What do you think of these Aztec inpired dresses?
