Dear Ivy,
This is a letter to my 100-year old self. If you’re reading this in the year 2073, then you MADE IT to 100!!
Do you remember that in your forties, you began telling people that you wanted to live to see 100 years? Now, here you are at age 100 and still going strong. Each day is an absolute blessing as you are taking each day as an opportunity to enjoy the blessings. Your life has been an experience that has left an indelible mark on people and your influence will be your lasting legacy.
Now that you’re here, you recognize that so many of the things you thought were important and dwelled on, were so insignificant. You could have put your energy towards more important and joyful things so you didn’t waste any time. It’s a good thing you realized this before it was too late and started to forge a path on a new journey of the life you now have.
Continue to be yourself without apology. Express your creative spirit and share all the knowledge and experienced you had in your life because you have seen so much over the last 100 years! Each day ahead is a blessing and don’t take it for granted while you are still here.
