Now this is a trend previously seen as tacky or is sometimes associated with exotic dancers; Clear and plastic heels.  This trend seems to always creep back up as fashion cycles typically do.  It made an initial return on the runways in 2012 but is now going mainstream for summer 2013.  Big names including Prada, Diane Von Furstenberg, Stella McCartney and Michael Kors all have their own versions of the trend for the season.
